Hello everybody, we are at “count down” time, and I hope that means we are doing everything we can to assure that we have a good and exciting recital again this year. Your complete cooperation is greatly needed from now until recital night, by making sure your children are present each week for their dance classes. I am very pleased with this year’s work and look forward to seeing the benefits. I AM ASKING EVERYONE TO PLEASE READ THE COMPLETE NEWSLETTER, BECAUSE ALL ANNOUNCEMENTS ARE THERE. Remember to ask questions early, rather than later, to make sure you are aware of all the things that need to be done for the recital.

ADS CONTEST
The soliciting for ads has begun. Please start turning in your ads as you get them. If you are participating in the ad selling contest, please make all reports to Ms. June, ONLY. Winners will win free dance lessons: one full year, half year, and one-third year free dance lessons. Ads should be written legibly and easy for the printer to read. Use your ads information sheets you have received in previous newsletters, which is the ads price list and recital information. I think all students deserve an ad from someone complimenting them on their hard work. Copies of previous program booklets are available in the office. Stop and pick up one to use when you solicit for ads. We have a nice booklet, so you should show it when you solicit for the ads.
TRASH BAG SALE
We will be going back to World’s of Fun again this year. At this time, we have enough money to pay for all the students’ tickets. But in order for the studio to pay any portion of the parent’s tickets, we have to raise the funds. We are having a trash bag sale to try to pay all or part of one parents’ ticket. Any guests you wish to invite will have to pay these amounts, which includes the meal: Adults - $32.00, Children – $26.00(must not be over 4 feet tall). All children 2 years and under are free. Our meal will be the same as last year. The fees at World’s of Fun increased $5.00 this year. Let’s try to do a good job with the trash sale. I gave a few ideas for other things to do, but no one came to me to talk about any of them.
RECITAL FEES / PHOTO SHOOT
The Photo Shoot is set for Monday, May 7, 2012 in the Fellowship Hall of the church. Individual pictures can be taken from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Group pictures of all classes will be taken at 7:00 p.m. Any individual pictures left to shoot will be shot after all class group shots have been taken. If all dance fees and recital fees are not paid up, your child will not receive a costume until these fees are paid. Dance fees should be paid up, including May fee. We want all children in the group pictures for the program booklet. So, if you are not sure how much you owe, please check both the delinquent dance lessons list and the delinquent recital fee list. Please do not wait until the last minute, and then ask for favors. NO FAVORS. You have been asked to pay these fees for quite some time. A photo price list will be posted for those who want to take individual pictures. The photographer will not accept checks at the photo shoot. She is asking for cash only. You can thank those people who gave her “bad checks” last year.
DANCE FEES
All dance fees are to be paid monthly, at the beginning of the month. After the 15th of the month, you should automatically add a $5.00 late fee to your payment. No monthly fees should more than two months behind. Look at the posted delinquent lists each week to keep aware of your back payments. If at any time you make payments that go into the next month and leave a balance, please even out your payment record by paying that balance along with your current payment. Please keep payments current through July.

Easter was the last vacation weekend for this year. Classes will be held Memorial Day weekend. The last dance day of the year is July 28, 2012 .
KIDDIES KORNER
Yahzmine Jackson continues to keep up her 4.0 average with straight A grade cards each grading period. This is commendable for both Yahzmine and her mother Meta Wells, who is guiding her in the right direction mentally, physically and spiritually. “GREAT JOB YAZMINE”, you make us proud having a student like you.
